A Pearson CE25 Case Erector is an industrial machine that automatically takes flat, folded corrugated cardboard boxes (“knockdown cases”), opens them into a square box, folds the bottom flaps, and seals the bottom—ready for products to be loaded. Pearson CE25 Case Erector, What it does The basic process is: Flat box blanks → vacuum opens box → flaps fold → bottom is sealed → upright box exits. The CE25 can seal with either pressure-sensitive tape or hot-melt glue. It uses opposing vacuum mechanisms to grab and open the cardboard blank and synchronized flight lugs to keep the box square while the bottom is closed. There are also variants such as the CE25-T (tape) and CE25-G (glue). The CE25-P adds an inline printer mount so cases can be printed before they’re formed. In simple terms if you have a packaging line making, say, cases of bottles, food products, consumer goods, or industrial parts, an operator loads a stack of flat boxes into the CE25. The machine automatically turns those flat blanks into usable boxes. A downstream case packer can then put the product in, followed by a case sealer to close the top.
