WEXXAR WF-20T AUTOMATIC CASE ERECTOR WITH BOTTOM TAPER

The Wexxar WF-20T is a fully automatic case erector and bottom taper. It takes flat, corrugated case blanks, mechanically opens them, folds the bottom flaps, and seals the bottom of the box with packing tape. It typically produces up to 20 cases per minute. Core Features and Capabilities include Pin and Dome System: Instead of using vacuum suction (which struggles with poor-quality or recycled corrugated), it uses a patented mechanical “pin and dome” method that physically punctures the case flutes to pull the box perfectly square. Positive Flap Folding: Minor and major bottom flaps are folded using rotary folders and positive force, ensuring the case is tightly formed and stable for packing. Bottom Taper: The “T” in the model name signifies it is equipped with a tape head (commonly Dekka brand, either 2-inch or 3-inch) to securely seal the bottom of the case. Tool-Less Changeovers: Case size adjustments can be completed in under 10 minutes using hand-cranks and gauges. Safety & Control: Features fully interlocked safety guarding, emergency stops, and an HMI touch screen for easy operation and machine tuning. Typical Specifications include Speed: 5 to 20 cases per minute (depending on the box material and size). Case Size Range: Generally handles blanks measuring anywhere from 7.5″ to 38″ in length, accommodating a wide variety of RSC (Regular Slotted Carton) and HSC (Half Slotted Carton) boxes.
